Richard J. Cedor, Jr. has been promoted to manager of the Providence office of Rooney, Plotkin &Willey, LLP. A graduate of Stone-hill College, Cedor is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is the chairperson of the Family and Workplace Issues Committee at the Rhode Island Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Sharon Page
Sharon Page has been appointed vice president of Fleet Bank’s private clients group. Page serves as a relationship manager for a portfolio of high net-worth clients, providing credit, trust, investment and other personalized banking services. She has been with Fleet since 1980. She attended the University of Rhode Island, with a concentration in business administration and has been active in a variety of Rhode Island community service organizations for many years.
Brian A. Azar
Brian A. Azar has been named senior vice president and regional manager of Citizens Bank’s metro regional branches. He will be overseeing branches in North Providence and Providence. Azar was previously employed at Fleet Bank in Massachusetts as a district manager. He is a graduate of Bryant College with a bachelor’s degree in marketing. A Lincoln resident, he serves on the advisory board at Urban Collaborative Accelerated Program in Providence.
Bruce Fitzgerald
Bruce Fitzgerald had been hired to operate First Federal Savings Bank of America’s newest loan center in Connecticut. He recently joined FIRSTFED as a mortgage account executive in the residential loan production division. A graduate of Sacred Heart University, Fitzgerald has worked in insurance and investment sales and sales management on local and regional levels.
ENVIRONMENTAL
Lincoln Environmental, Inc. has hired Dawn Horter and Kerin L. Clegg and transferred Scott Masse. Horter and Clegg are project manager and environmental scientist, respectively at LEI’s Smithfield office. Masse, who is a project manager, has been transferred from the Smithfield office to the Westford, Mass. office. Horter has a bachelor’s degree in geology from Ohio State and a master’s in geology from Rutgers. She is a certified professional geologist through the American Institute, and has an LSP application pending in Massachusetts. Clegg previously worked as the marketing coordinator for National Firm. A University of New Hampshire graduate, Clegg’s responsibilities as an environmental scientist include performing real estate site assessments and other field support services. Masse has been with Lincoln Environmental for five years. Over that time he has worked on diverse projects including large scale soil excavation, de-watering of contaminated sites and several successful New England site cleanups.

Elaine C. Jones
Elaine C. Jones, MD has been appointed to the medical staff at Roger Williams Medical Center. Dr. Jones is a neurologist specializing in treating diseases and conditions of the nervous system, including migraine headaches, epilepsy, Parkinson’s Disease and seizure disorders. She received her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina and completed her neurology residency and a neurophysiology fellowship at Rhode Island Hospital.

Jeff Tabor
Jeff Tabor has been named brokerage director for the Providence agency of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company. He will be responsible for sales and marketing to the company’s brokerage area. Prior to this, Tabor was a sales consultant for Paul Revere/President. He is a resident of Portsmouth.
Christopher J. Allesandro
LAW
Christopher J. Allesandro of Smithfield has joined the law firm of Mirick O’Connell in Worcester, Mass. He is an associate in the corporate and business law department. Before joining the firm he was an associate at the law firm of Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP of Boston, where he focused on general corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial lending transactions. He earned his undergraduate degree from Duke University and his law degree from the University of Notre Dame Law School. Allesandro is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, and is a member of the Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Worcester County Bar Associations.

John Kaplan
John Kaplan has been appointed national sales manager of American Insulated Wire Corp. He will focus on national and large regional wire and cable distributors. He will also be assigned to work with AIW sales representatives, where he will aid in training and end-user support. Kaplan has over 20 years of experience in the wire and cable industry. Most of his experience is related to electrical distribution. He has been employed in several sales and marketing positions throughout his career in wire and cable. Most recently he was vice president of business development at General Cable in Highland Heights, Kentucky.
Pierre LaPerriere
Pierre La-Perriere has been promoted to director of human resources at Toray Plastics (Am-erica), Inc. He has been with Toray since 1993. Most recently he was the manager of training and employment. An Exeter resident, he holds a bachelor of arts degree from Southeastern Massachusetts University and a master’s from Bryant College.

Michael J. Giuttarri
Michael J. Giuttarri, owner of MG Commercial Properties, has been named as realtor of the year by the RI Commercial & Appraisal Board of Realtors. He will now compete with Rhode Island’s four other candidates for the title of state ROTY on October 7 during the RIAR Annual Convention at the Westin in Providence. In the commercial real estate industry for 13 years, he is current president of the RICA Board.
