WARWICK – Atrion Networking Corp. has acquired Providence-based Shazamm Global Interactive Agency Inc., a multimedia marketing and communications firm, the companies said last week. Financial details were not disclosed.
Atrion is a provider of unified communications and local-area and wide-area network (LAN and WAN) installation, and management and security, among other services. Shazamm is a provider of Internet, print and multimedia campaigns for clients including Hasbro Inc., Touchstone Pictures, Samsung, MGM, Time Inc. and the Pawtucket Red Sox. The deal allows Atrion to offer its 490 clients those “outward-facing” services, in addition to its “behind-the-scenes” expertise, the companies said.
Atrion also gains Shazamm’s offices in Providence and New York City. •
