What support programs has your company offered employees to help cope with the COVID-19 pandemic? In appreciation of our essential workers, we created a free weekly employee pantry providing essential food items; gift cards were sent to each employee’s home to provide additional support the first month of COVID-19. Increased communication methods were established to provide direct communication from top leadership on decision-making and we created adaptive spaces for the ever-changing COVID-19 protocol across all business areas.

What modifications have you made to your workplace to support employee wellness? Over the past year we have made increasing changes, including significant modification and personalization of desks, seats, incentives, and volunteer activities have all been introduced.

Do you have a preference for promoting existing staff or hiring from outside and why? We have a deep leadership-development program that focuses on how to promote from within before hiring from the outside.
