Stephen A. Cardi II, executive vice president of Cardi Corp., has been elected president of Construction Industries of Rhode Island. The association includes more than 50 contractors, suppliers and engineering companies engaged in highway, bridge, utility and other heavy outdoor construction activities. Cardi is a fourth-generation officer at Warwick-based Cardi Corp. •
