Steven M. Parente has been named senior vice president and director of retail banking at Bank Rhode Island. In this role, Parente will oversee the bank’s retail branch network and investment sales. Most recently, Parente was a senior vice president and regional manager for Citizens Bank. In that position, Parente managed a 12-branch network with 164 colleagues and $1.6 billion in assets.
