Launch event held for Windows SERVER

BARRINGTON – The Southern New England Network Users Group, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping network engineers hone their skills, organized a free local launch event for Microsoft Windows SERVER 2008.
Held on March 27 at the New England Institute of Technology and presented by David Hanna of Microsoft, the event enabled local business owners and network engineers to preview and learn more about Microsoft’s first new Windows Server operating system in five years.
Established in 1993, the Southern New England Network Users Group is the official local user group for Microsoft and Novell networks. The goal of the group is to pool knowledge and resources so its members can become informed about networking trends, technologies, innovations and procedures.
Starting on April 16, the group’s meetings will be held on the third Wednesday of each month from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at New England Institute of Technology in Warwick. &#8226
