Joseph P. Murphy has been named Rhode Island College’s Alumnus of the Year for his contributions and service to the school.
He helped establish the Michael J. Gonsalves ’86 Scholarship Endowment Fund and organized an annual golf tournament to benefit the fund.
Murphy holds three Rhode Island college degrees, and serves as president of the Epsilon chapter of Kappa Delta Phi.
