Richard Gamache, vice president and administrator of Elmhurst Extended Care in Providence, recently received the Distinguished Nursing Home Administrator of the Year award, given by the R.I. Health Care Association, a nonprofit focused on providing accessible, quality health care to Rhode Islanders. The primary goal of each association member is to provide residents with the highest quality of care possible.
