Kevin M. McCarthy, president and CEO of Newport Federal Savings Bank, has been re-elected to the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston’s board of directors. He will be serving his second term, which will run through December 2008. McCarthy has served as president and CEO of the Newport bank since 1989. A resident of Portsmouth, he is active in the Newport County/Aquidneck Island community and serves on many boards and organizations.
