Amanda Barney has been promoted to director of communications of the Hospital Association of Rhode Island (HARI). She was formerly communications manager. In her new role, Barney oversees day-to-day operations of the association’s communications program. She has a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from Emerson College and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in health service administration at Salve Regina University.
