Marie T. van Luling has been named senior vice president of marketing and corporate communications for Bank Rhode Island. She’s responsible for managing all communication activities for the bank. van Luling previously worked as managing director for the Boston office of Manning Selvage & Lee. She is a trustee of the Religious Trust of the Missionaries of Our Lady of LaSalette and past president of the board of directors of the National Network for Youth. van Luling received a bachelor’s degree from Providence College and a juris doctor from Villanova University School of Law. She lives in Providence.
