Scott M. Hacker has been appointed controller at StrategicPoint Investment Advisors LLC, based in Providence. His duties include reporting the revenues and expenses of the holding company, preparing monthly financial statements, preparing and filing all regulatory financial reports with the NASD and SEC, managing accounting staff, and providing guidance and information to senior management on financial issues that affect the company. Hacker previously worked as senior finance manager in the broker/dealer subsidiary of Citizens Bank. He holds the Series 7, 8, 24, 27, 53, and 63 licenses and is a member of the National Association of Securities Dealers. Hacker holds a bachelor’s degree from New York University and his master’s degree from Pace University in N.Y.
