Dennis J. Charland has been named executive vice president and treasurer of
the Independent Insurance Agents of Rhode Island, located in Warwick.
He is responsible for the oversight and implementation of policies affecting
the independent insurance agents belonging to the association. Charland also
oversees a staff of seven. He lives in Scituate.
