GTECH Holdings Corporation today announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, GTECH Corporation, has signed a two-year contract extension to provide online lottery products and services to AB Svenska Spel, the Company’s lottery customer in Sweden. In addition, GTECH signed its previously-awarded Enterprise Series Video lottery central system contract with Svenska Spel.
“We have had a long and cooperative relationship with Svenska Spel since 1985, and appreciate the opportunity to continue contributing to their success,” said GTECH President and CEO W. Bruce Turner. “Our Enterprise Series Video lottery central system contract provides a significant entry for GTECH in the European video lottery marketplace. This, combined with our online contract extension, also demonstrates GTECH’s flexibility and diversity in meeting our customer’s needs.”

Under the contract extension, GTECH will continue providing Svenska Spel with an online lottery central system and services including software maintenance and development through June 30, 2005.
