Nortek revised its schedule for shareholder approval of its pending $1.6 billion buyout by Kelso & Co., saying that it does not expect to be able to hold its shareholder meeting required for approval of the deal until late in the fourth quarter. Nortek, however, said it expects the transaction will close promptly following the meeting.
The Providence-based company agreed to the offer in June.
