NEW BEDFORD, MASS. — Seacoast Financial Services Corp., holding company for CompassBank and Nantucket Bank, said it earned $7 million, or 29 cents per diluted share in the second quarter, compared to $6 million, or 25 cents per diluted share, during the year-ago period.
The company’s board of directors approved a quarterly cash dividend of 9 cents per share, payable on August 24 to shareholders of record on August 10.

SeaCoast operates 29 full service branches of CompassBank and seven ATMs in Southeastern Massachusetts. It operates three full service branch offices of Nantucket Bank on Nantucket Island.
