David Whare, CPA has joined Rooney, Plotkin & Willey, LLP as tax manager in the Newport office. He previously served for ten years as an officer in the U.S. Navy and was a manager at Priest Kortick & Gesmondi, Ltd. in Providence. Whare holds a master of science degree in accounting from the University of Rhode Island and a master of science degree in taxation from Bryant College. He resides in Portsmouth.
