Attorney General Patrick Lynch announced his support of a Senate bill that would require the State’s five general officers to file more comprehensive financial disclosure statements under Rhode Island’s Code of Ethics.
Testimony on the bill, 2992, was offered yesterday before the Senate Government Oversight Committee, chaired by Senator Michael Lenihan of East Greenwich.

Lynch said all general officers should provide leadership in setting higher financial disclosure standards as it applies to income from all sources, including real property holdings, gifts received with a value of over $100, and personal liabilities, as well as full dislosure of their participation on boards and executive positions held.
