Almond appoints new community relations director

PROVIDENCE– Gov. Lincoln Almond appointed Kim S. Rose director of community
relations to replace Armeather Gibbs, who has joined FleetBoston as senior vice
president and community development manager for the bank in Rhode Island. Rose
had been serving as Enterprise Community project director for the Providence
Plan. She is a native of East Providence and a graduate of Boston University.
