Angela Loomis, Bank of Newport information technology security officer, has been named to the SysAdmin Audit Network Security (SANS) Security Awareness Training Advisory Board. One of 35 International board members, Loomis is instrumental in defining, documenting and publishing a security awareness training standard. As IT security officer, she is responsible for information security and disaster recovery for the bank, and user education. A Rhode Island College graduate, Loomis and her family live in East Greenwich.
