Arnold Chase Jr., of Cornish Associates LP, has been named recipient of the 2004 Small Business Award, presented by the Arts & Business Council of Rhode Island. Cornish Associates is working to rehabilitate the central core of Downtown Providence, known as Downcity, into a thriving, mixed-use neighborhood anchored by arts and entertainment uses. Chase is the chairman of the Trinity Repertory Company. He serves on the boards of the Providence Foundation, The Providence Preservation Society and the Congress for new Urbanism.
