PBN: How does your global experience play a role?
McCORMICK: Working in other countries forces sensitivity

and companies communicate depending on the different cultures, environments and markets in which they operate. This is true for all businesses and their communications plans – one size does not fit all.
PBN: You’re from Australia, why work in the U.S.?

PBN: Is PR different in Australia vs. the U.S.?
McCORMICK: The actual process of PR is the same in both countries. The difference lies in the cultural arena – what is considered interesting or newsworthy to Australians may not necessarily be so for Americans. Just because we speak the same language, doesn’t mean we are the same and you learn these subtle differences quickly when you move to another country.
