Axeda Systems Inc., a provider of enterprise software, recently announced the release of its Axeda Service application. The new service is a software application that lets personnel identify, diagnose and repair problems from a remote location.
Features of the application include the ability to define and capture snapshots of device data on demand. Technicians are notified before problems arise and can access and analyze data and detailed information supplied from the devices for a faster diagnosis of the problem.

“This new release extends the continuous data monitoring and alarm management capability of the Axeda DRM system to enable the capture of entirely new types of device data—in context and on demand,” said Dale Calder, president of Axeda, in a company release.
