BOSTON — The Massachusetts Bankers Association and the Community Bank League
of New England have agreed to merge, the Boston Globe reported. The CBLNE approved
the merger a week earlier. The MBA voted to approve the merger last week. It will
become effective July 1. The combined organizations will be called the Massachusetts
Bankers Association.
