Peter Walsh will oversee small business lending at Bank Rhode Island in addition to his present duties as senior vice president managing the bank’s consumer lending and CRA activities. He will also be responsible for overseeing the underwriting, approval, documentation, and servicing aspects of the small business lending group. Walsh received his bachelor of science of degree in business administration from Providence College. He is the president of the board of directors for Keep Providence Beautiful and a board member at the Fund for Community Progress, the Mt. Pleasant High School Academy and the Center for Hispanic Policy and Advocacy. He is a resident of Providence.
