Wayne W. Long has been appointed senior vice president at Bank of Newport. He will oversee all retail and wholesale residential mortgage origination and secondary marketing. Long joined Bank of Newport in 1999 as vice president, residential mortgage origination and secondary marketing. He is a graduate of Brown University in Providence. He and his wife Carol make their home in Southborough, Massachusetts.
