Timothy J. Pigott has been appointed senior vice president at Bank of Newport. He will oversee consumer lending, mortgage production support, and the servicing of residential mortgages, commercial and consumer loans. He joined Bank of Newport in 1988, most recently serving as vice president, residential lending. Pigott earned his bachelor of arts degree in psychology from Rhode Island College in Providence, and his master’s degree in business administration from the University of Rhode Island in Kingston. He is a Lieutenant Colonel (retired) United States Marine Corps Reserve. He resides with his wife Joanne and their two daughters in West Warwick.
