Albert R. Rietheimer, CPA has been elected chairman of the board of directors at the Financial Managers Society of Chicago, Illinois. He is CFO and treasurer of Bancorp Rhode Island, Inc. and its principal subsidiary, Bank Rhode Island. He has served the society for several years in a variety of positions, most recently as national vice chairman and previously as chair of the national conference committee. He is the past president of the Boston chapter of the Financial Managers Society. Rietheimer was formerly employed as senior vice president and chief financial officer at Boston Private Bancorp, Inc. and its principal subsidiary, Boston Private bank and Trust Company. A certified public accountant, he received his bachelor of science degree in business administration from Babson College.
