Charlene Jarest, formerly vice president of corporate services, has been promoted to senior vice president at Slade’s Ferry Bank, and she will oversee the bank’s human resources, training, marketing, building and grounds and administrative services areas. With a degree from Central Connecticut State University and a certificate in personnel administration from Bryant College, she joined the bank in 1991. Jarest is also a recent recipient of the John S. Brayton Jr. Memorial Outstanding Community Service Recognition Award presented by the Greater Fall River Chamber of Commerce.
