Barry W. Fain has been named president of the Rotary Club of Providence. Fain is the publisher of Providence Media, a chain of six publications, including East Side Monthly and Providence Monthly. Previously, Fain was president of Fains Carpet/Carpet Giant. He has served on the boards of United Way, the Providence Preservation Society, Moses Brown School and several other organizations. •
