Bethany Smith has joined the United Way of Rhode Island as a campaign ambassador. In her new position, she will serve as a liaison between the United Way and its workplace campaigns. Before joining the United Way, Smith had directed a tutoring and mentoring program for employees of BankBoston and students at Providence’s Samuel Bridgham Middle School.
