Bob Chew has been appointed chief sustainability officer for Alteris Renewables Inc. In this newly created position, Chew will focus his efforts on reducing the company’s ecological footprint. He brings to his role more than 35 years of experience in the renewable energy field. He is a certified green consultant and in 2007 was named Entrepreneur of the Year by Providence Business News. •
