Brian Flynn has been named account manager at Alga Plastics in Cranston. He is responsible for direct account management with Alga’s customers and the further development of Alga’s U.S. medical packaging business. He works closely with Alga’s customers from the concept design through prototype/tooling and product launch phases. Flynn has more than 15 years of thermoforming experience. He previously worked as an account business manger for the technical packaging division at Alcoa Flexible Packaging, based in Wheaton, Ill. He received a bachelor’s degree from Roosevelt University in Chicago. Flynn is a member of the Institute of Packaging Professionals and its medical device committee.
