Donna M. Finchum has joined Pawtucket Credit Union as vice president of human resources. She will oversee all recruiting, employment, staffing and benefits as well as policies and practices in the human resource area and all payroll services. Finchum came to PCU from Bell Atlantic, where she was staff director of human resources. She is an American Red Cross Disaster Relief volunteer and lives in Attleboro.

Christopher M. Saccone
Christopher M. Saccone has joined Bufftree Building Company as project executive with responsibility for overseeing all construction projects from start to finish. He brings over 20 years of construction experience with him, including work with NER Construction Management Co., in Wilmington, Mass., where he also served as project executive. Previously he had been project manager and engineer of construction for the Rouse Company where he managed the restoration programs for historic Faneuil Hall Marketplace.
Donald J. Michaels
Donald J. Michaels has been named vice president of Gilbane Company. He is support operations manager for the company’s New England region. With the company since 1993, he is responsible for the region’s estimating, purchasing, and scheduling departments. During his career with Gilbane, he has managed the design phase services of office facilities such as Picture-Tel in Andover, Mass.; Bayer, Inc., in West Haven, Conn.; and Pfizer, Inc., in Groton, Conn. The New England region is based in Providence.

Robin L. Low
Robin L. Low of Warwick has been promoted to processing manager and systems administrator of GT Funding Corp. She is responsible for commercial and residential loan processing, in addition to the continuous development of systems applications. She has been with the Lincoln-based firm for one year, and was most recently with Citizens Bank for ten years.
HEALTH CARE
Pat Molloy
Pat Molloy has joined the leadership team at South Shore Mental Health Center in Charlestown, Mass., as the director of child, adolescent, and family services. She comes to the Center from Bradley Hospital in East Providence, where she worked for over ten years. Molloy will continue to develop the Center’s program for children and administer the Alternative School, which is a new program, receiving referrals from throughout the state. She will oversee programs providing crisis intervention, and intensive children’s services, as well as various outreach programs. Molloy will also meet with various community and state agencies to meet the needs of children and families and to review pilot programs.
Dr. Richard Carleton
Richard Carleton, MD, FACC, a heart specialist and former physician-in-chief at Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island, has just returned from Sant’ Anna School of Studies in Doctoral Research in Pisa, Italy after three and a half months. Awarded a Fulbright grant to teach there, he served as the Pisa chair in medicine for Health Care Assessment. Dr. Carleton is a professor of medicine at Brown University School of Medicine and chairman of the Rhode Island Coalition. He is a resident of Bristol.

Louise Bucko has been elected vice president and treasurer of Union Wadding Company. With the company since 1976, she previously served as assistant treasurer and controller. She is a graduate of Bryant College and resides in Cumberland.
Tracey Gear & Machine Works is celebrating their 55th anniversary as a Rhode Island company. Founded in 1945 by Leo Tracey, the business now operates under the leadership of his sons, Steve Tracey, president and Rick Tracey, vice president. As a manufacturer of custom gears and precision machine parts, the Pawtucket-based company recently received ISO 9002 certification.

Eileen M. Rafferty
Eileen M. Rafferty has been appointed director of business development for Resource International Employee Assistance Services, where she will be responsible for the national marketing and account management support for the workplace consultation and training services of the Warwick-based company. A resident of Forestdale, she has 14 years of experience in the employee assistance and workplace training field. A Certified Employee Assistance Professional, she formerly held an account management position at the Jernberg Corporation of Worcester, in Massachusetts.

Andrea M. Hopkins
Andrea M. Hopkins was recently hired as director of marketing and public relations at Meeting Street Center. She comes to the Center from AAA Southern New England, where she served a variety of positions for 13 years, including vice president of travel and most recently, senior vice president of marketing and member services. Prior to her tenure at AAA, she was employed by A.T. Cross Company as a marketing support manager. A Coventry resident, she holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Rhode Island and a Certificate in Human Resource Management from Bryant College.
Michael Gianfrancesco
Michael Gianfrancesco of Cranston has been elected to the Board of Directors of Literacy Volunteers of America for Rhode Island. He will serve as chair of the Fund Development Committee. A New England representative for printing manufacturers, Gian-francesco attended Johnson & Wales University and Rhode Island College, where he studied business management and marketing. Prior to being a manufacturer’s representative, he was an independent marketing counsel.
SHIPBUILDING
Robert P. Guastini
Robert P. Guastini of Coventry has been named chief operating officer and director of the Southeastern New England Shipbuilding Corporation at Quonset Point. He supervises the management and corporate operations of this shipbuilding company, which specializes in the construction of barges, tug boats, ferries, and other shallow-draft boats. A native Rhode Islander, he is one of the founders of SENESCO. He has had 32 years of experience in shipbuilding with General Dynamics, in the Electric Boat division, and as a civilian technician for the U.S. Army. He also served as panel vice chair with the U.S. National Shipbuilding Research Program. He is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island.
