RISS announces addition of three new tech-executives
Brian Kretchman has joined R.I. Soft Systems Mediaweave division as Webmaster. His responsibilities will include maintaining the company’s corporate Web sites on a daily basis and contributing technical expertise to the development and implementation of client Web sites. Kretchman is a graduate of the New England Institute of Technology. Mark Colebank has joined RISS as senior new media designer. He will be responsible for Mediaweave’s corporate Web site development and the development and implementation of database-driven Web sites written in Cold Fusion. Colebank is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design.
Chris Arsenault has joined the company as software engineer. He will assist the RISS/Mediaweave engineering team in developing low-level code technologies and implementing sophisticated client projects. Arsenault is a graduate of Rhode Island College.

Michael H. Blatt
Michael H. Blatt has been named vice president of BenefitConnections.com, a division of New England Benefit Companies, Inc. (NEBCO). He will be responsible for the overall operations of Benefit connection-s.com, a fully interactive and automated insurance Web site that markets insurance to affiliated affinity groups, associations, banks, brokers, employers and their members/customers and employees. Blatt has been with NEBCO since 1993 as a regional vice president and vice president of sales.
Peter Fornal
Peter Fornal has been appointed vice president of human resources for Log On America, Inc. He has previously served as vice president of personnel for the information systems group of Motorola and vice president of industrial relations for Hasbro, Inc. Fornal is currently the vice chair of the National Employee and Labor Relations Committee for the Society of Human Resource Management and is the president of the Rhode Island Wellness Council.
Anthony Peduto
Anthony Peduto has been named vice president and general manager of American Broadband, Inc. He will be responsible for overseeing American Broadband’s Rhode Island operations. Peduto was previously employed as general manager for Starpower, a telecommunications company providing cable TV, telephone and Internet services to the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, and vice president for Tele-Communications, Inc. He is a resident of East Greenwich.
