Carl Nielsen has been named vice president of ecological and environmental-permitting services practice at ESS Group. Over the past 11 years, he has assisted with building team and group management responsibilities while simultaneously developing new products, business and clients for ESS Group. Nielsen has a B.A. in biology from Colgate University and an M.A. in science in fisheries and wildlife from the University of Missouri–Columbia. •
