Charles E. Maynard, president and CEO of The Providence Center, has
received the 2004 Rhode Island Community Service Award from Leadership Rhode
Island. He serves on the boards of About Families, The Family Life Center, Goodwill
Industries, The Rhode Island Council of Community Mental Health Organizations,
and The Whitmarsh Corporation and ProMail Etc. Maynard is a committee member
for the Blue Cross/Blue Shield Symposium, Providence Emergency Management Group,
Mayor’s Substance Abuse Prevention Council, and the State Housing Appeals Board.
He lives in East Greenwich.
