Charles J. Ajootian, president and legal counsel of Providence-based 1031 Exchange Services Inc., has been certified by the national Federation of Exchange Accommodators (FEA) as a “Certified Exchange Specialist.” He is a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association. Ajootian is a graduate of Harvard College and Boston University School of Law. The FEA is a nonprofit organization that is the nation’s largest trade organization comprised primarily of tax deferred exchange professionals who specialize in aiding investment and business real estate owners to deter capital gains taxes through Revenue Code Section 1031 exchanges.
