Christopher Y. Downs has been promoted to group executive vice president for Citizens Financial Group Inc. He is responsible for consumer finance activities including consumer loan products. He is a member of Citizens’ executive management team and previously held the position of executive vice president. He is a board member of The International Institute and the Lincoln School. He has completed Harvard Business School’s executive leadership program. Downs received a bachelor’s degree from Middlebury College in Vermont and his master’s degree from the University of New Hampshire. He and his family live in Barrington.
