Citizens Bank of Pennsylvania, the
third-largest bank in the Philadelphia area based on assets, said
it’s adding 250 employees and extending Sunday hours to all 161 of
its branches in the region beginning this weekend, the
Philadelphia Inquirer reported.
The new employees will raise the company’s total work force in
the region to about 2,400, the newspaper said. Citizens Bank is
part of Rhode Island-based Citizens Financial Group Inc., a unit
of Royal Bank of Scotland Group Plc.

Depending on local demand, the offices will be open at least
three hours on Sundays, the newspaper said.
