Climate Change Initiative schedules workshop

PROVIDENCE — A Rhode Island Climate Change Initiative Workshop scheduled for
next Monday will feature David Brand, a forestry investment expert from Sydney,
Australia and Michael J. Walsh, Ph.D., an environmentalist and financial expert.
The legislative initiative is authored by Rep. Scott P. Rabideau and will be held
at the Rhode Island Foundation from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 1 Union Station in Providence.
Doctor Brand is director of carbon programs for the Hancock Natural Resource Group
in Sydney. Doctor Walsh is senior vice president of Environmental Financial Products,
LLC.
