The Rose Hall Ritz-Carlton in Jamaica has a little bit of Rhode Island flair — braided texture rugs from CMI (Colonia Mills Inc.) of Pawtucket. The 8 by 11-foot, 100 percent wool rugs were created in four different color schemes — yellow, teal, green and coral — for use in different sections of the hotel.
CMI was awarded the contract to produce the rugs for each of the hotel’s 380 rooms following a competitive request for proposal process.
