Covansys announces results for third quarter

PROVIDENCE – Covansys Corporation, a worldwide provider of information technology services with offices in Providence, reported third quarter revenues of $100.1 million. Revenue for the nine-month period ending Sept. 30 was $309.2 million compared to $313.2 million during the same period in 2000. Gross profit was $28.7 million yielding a gross profit margin of 28.6 percent of revenues for the third quarter.
