PROVIDENCE — Philip C. Galbo, senior vice president at pharmacy chain CVS Corp., has joined the board of directors at Spectra Systems Corp., a Providence-based company specializing in technology used for document processing and security, marking and tracking products, and industrial sensing.
Galbo has 30 years of experience in financial and strategic management. He is the senior vice president and treasurer at CVS Corp., and is the chief financial officer of CVS affiliate CVS Realty Company. He has also held management positions with the Melville Corporation, Toys “R” Us, Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company and Gulf & Western. Including Galbo’s appointment, Spectra Systems has seven board members.
