Darlene K. Alt has been named partner for the Providence office of Edwards & Angell. She practices civil litigation with concentrations in the areas of insurance, mass and toxic torts and financial services. Alt has counseled insurance companies, banks, and product manufacturers in a variety of areas and has experience in defending them in federal and state courts and agencies. She is admitted to practice law in Illinois and Rhode Island. Alt is a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association and the Rhode Island Technology Council. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and her juris doctorate from the Northwestern University School of Law in Chicago. She lives in Providence.
