David Gifford

David Gifford has been promoted to chief medical officer at Rhode Island Quality Partners where he will oversee all of RIQP’s programs, while continuing to work closely with nursing homes. He will also lead RIQP’s efforts to secure new contracts and grants related to measuring and improving health care quality. Gifford spearheaded the Nursing Home Quality Initiative. He is also an assistant professor of medicine and community health at Brown University.
