David M. Wax has been elected president of the board for The Sandra Feinstein-Gamm Theatre. Wax, who is retired, most recently served as executive director of the Rhode Island Philharmonic orchestra from 2001 to 2008. He has more than 35 years of experience in nonprofit performing arts management. Wax is also a member of the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts. •
