David Pettey has been named vice president of operations for the Cooley Group. In this role, he will direct product and technology innovation. He is a 25-year veteran of the textile and composite manufacturing industries, most recently serving as senior director of product development and quality with the Quaker Fabric Corp. in Fall River. He holds a Ph.D. in engineering management and an M.S. and B.S. in textile engineering.
