Dodge to leave Providence Energy

PROVIDENCE — James H. Dodge, head of Providence Energy Corporation for 10 years before its merger three months ago with Southern Union Company, has announced plans to leave the company next month. Dodge has been President of the New England Division of Southern Unions since it completed the merger with Providence Energy in September. In a statement, Dodge said “he had mixed feelings about leaving.” His last day is February 10.
