Dorothy R. Giamette, a sales associate with Weichert, Realtors – Cress and Co., has been appointed 2011 president of the Kent County Association of Realtors. Giamette was officially sworn in Oct. 7. She has held several positions since becoming a member of the association in 2001, and also serves as a director for the Rhode Island Association of Realtors. •
